The delayed match report just shows how disappointed we were with last weeks performance, a real tough one to take. We started the game strong as we usually do, with a good goal coming from Louis which we were hoping would lead to more success and inevitably more goals. The pitch was small and we struggled to piece passes together well enough to create any decent chances after our goal. Tingley must of hit the woodwork at least 5 or 6 times and we were just not our best defensively, the wrong side each time they came forward and missed tackles which allowed them to dribble past us with ease. The inevitable came after 14 minutes when they responded with the equaliser which felt like it was coming for a long time. A good response from us as Kylan powered forward into their box and was taken down resulting in a penalty to us. Kylan stepped up and rifled home. We held on to our lead until half time and It felt like one of those games where we could potentially not play well but grind out a result and still win. However just 2 minutes into the second half this train of thought just became wishful thinking as they equalised and scored a third in the space of a few minutes. We had rode our luck and now Tingley were taking their chances !. It ended 4-2 which could of been more due to our sluggish performance. Hopefully just an off week and we put it right against them again next week at home in our last home game of the season.
