While we may be a little behind in sharing our Player of the Month announcements publicly, the awards themselves have continued as normal, recognising the hard work, commitment, and positive performances shown by our players each month.

We are delighted to announce that our September 2025 Player of the Month is Javan “Bam” Mills.

Javan has been a defensive stalwart at the heart of our back line, consistently putting his body on the line and giving his all for the team week in, week out. His determination and bravery set the standard for those around him.

Not only has Javan been outstanding defensively, he has also produced several Goal of the Season contenders. His trademark driving runs from centre-back have certainly caused a few nervous moments on the sidelines, but more often than not he powers forward, glides past midfielders, and gets a shot away. When things don’t quite come off, he is always the first to react and fight to win the ball back for the team.

Most impressively, Javan continues to show real development in his game. He is making increasingly mature footballing decisions — trusting his teammates, choosing the right moments to pass, recognising when to hold his defensive position, and understanding when he has the freedom to push forward and support attacks.

Beyond his performances, Javan is a player who truly cares about his teammates and plays a pivotal role within the U10s squad.
